Anika Tasnim Hossain
Waterloo, Canada - International Development- English, Bengali - Anika is in her final term of a Master of Development Practice (MDP) at the University of Waterloo She has worked as a facilitator and translator of various studies with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). The projects generally explored intra-household gender dynamics affect women’s articulation of demand for and adoption of mechanization in Bangladesh. Anika has experience in women's empowerment and rural and agricultural development. Projects that she has worked on included several promising approaches for making agricultural machinery markets more inclusive of women as both entrepreneurs and renters of the machine.
